Niramaya Yogam :: Manas-Yog Peeth

At NYRF, we honor the rich traditions of yoga and the cultural heritage of India through a variety of special events and celebrations. These events not only deepen our connection to yoga but also foster a sense of community and shared purpose. Below are some of the key functions we celebrate:

Hanuman Jayanti

Hanuman Jayanti is a significant Hindu festival that commemorates the birth of Lord Hanuman, known for his unwavering devotion, strength, and service. At NYRF, we celebrate this auspicious day with reverence and community spirit.

Ramcharit Manas Katha

We organize a special Katha where the Ramcharit Manas, an epic poem by Tulsidas, is recited. This session delves into the life and virtues of Lord Hanuman and his role in the Ramayana, offering spiritual insights and inspiration to all attendees.

Shreemadbhagwat Katha

We organise a special Shrimad Bhagavat Katha typically refers to a discourse or storytelling session centered around the Shrimad Bhagavatam, a revered Hindu scripture that narrates the life and teachings of Lord Krishna. These sessions are often conducted by knowledgeable speakers or saints to impart spiritual wisdom, share moral teachings, and inspire devotion among the audience. They include recitations of verses, explanations of their meanings, and elucidations of the stories of various deities and their devotees as depicted in the scripture. Such sessions are highly regarded in Hindu culture for their ability to foster spiritual growth and deepen one's understanding of religious principles.

Prasad Distribution: After the Katha, we distribute Prasad to everyone present. This sacred offering symbolizes the blessings of Lord Hanuman and fosters a sense of unity and devotion among participants.

Community Gathering: It also includes bhajans (devotional songs), chanting, and discussions on the teachings and virtues of Lord Hanuman, encouraging a deeper spiritual connection and communal harmony.

Yoga Session for School Students: We conduct special yoga for students from nearby schools. These sessions are designed to introduce young minds to the benefits of yoga, fostering physical health, mental clarity, and emotional balance from an early age.

Community Yoga Classes: In addition to school students, we invite people from the local community to join us in celebrating International Yoga Day. Our instructors lead inclusive yoga classes that cater to all skill levels, ensuring that everyone can participate and benefit.

Educational Workshops: Alongside yoga , we offer workshops on the principles of yoga, mindfulness practices, and healthy living. These workshops aim to educate participants on how to integrate yoga into their daily lives for holistic well-being.

Group Meditation: The day concludes with a group meditation, promoting inner peace and collective mindfulness. This shared experience enhances the sense of community and connection among participants.

Other Special Events

Guru Purnima: Honoring our teachers and spiritual guides, we hold a special ceremony to express gratitude and respect. This event includes guided meditations, storytelling, and communal prayers.
