"Shri Ramcharitmanas," often referred to simply as "Ramcharitmanas," is a renowned epic poem composed by the 16th-century Indian saint-poet Goswami Tulsidas. It is one of the most celebrated works in Hindu literature, particularly in the devotional tradition of Bhakti.
The Ramcharitmanas is written in Awadhi, a dialect of Hindi, and consists of seven books or sections called Kands, each dealing with different phases of Lord Rama's life.
